Originally part of the Town 25 North, a man by the name of J.G. Rosholt operated a sawmill and made a deal with Jens Rasmussen to share the rights on the South Branch of the Little Wolf River. There, he built a sawmill adjacent to the Rasmussen’s feed mill. In 1901, the mill burned down along with Rosholt’s log cabin, dry kiln, and blacksmiths shop. Rosholt didn’t have any insurance on either the lumber or mill. Over the next two years, a larger mill was built. This also burned down in 1907.

Despite the string of years it took for larger businesses in the village of Rosholt, WI to become established, this quaint Wisconsin town and the surrounding areas are full of life. Nearby, The Energy Fair takes place in mid to late June every summer. The Iola Historical Society Strawberry Fest is also a close event  held around the same time as The Energy Fair.  

Other towns that are close by are Alban, Northland, Peru, Garfield, Polonia, Ellis, Little Waupon, North Star, Shanty Town, Galloway, and Norske.

A sewer backed up into our condominium’s central utility building and contaminated the walls, floor and critical equipment including water pipes and valves. This resulted in the shutdown of six units, three of which are expecting weekend guests. We called ServPro on the recommendation of our plumber and explained the urgency of the situation to Eric, their Project Estimator. He checked with Barry, part owner and Restoration Technician, who had several jobs lined up. Given our predicament, however, he made time for us and was on the job in two days. Our home flooded back in April with the monsoon rains & storms. Servpro was able to come quickly and efficiently help us get the water out of our finished basement. Afterwards, we had some issues with billing & difference in pricing which I was quite upset about and was debating on giving a poorer review. HOWEVER talk about a company that went above and beyond to make it right. Logan was absolutely amazing and really helped get everything squared away correctly. Highly recommend them because of great service all around and also because they are a company that can admit and correct a wrong.
