Restoration Services in Rocky Top

Rocky Top is known for its beautiful mountains and small, but friendly community. The weather is typically warm and humid in the summer and warm in the winter. Rocky Top has a rich history dating back to the American Revolutionary War. What makes Rocky Top unique are its festivals and outdoor activities such as hiking trails, waterfalls, cooling off at swimming holes, camping and climbing Mt. Leconte (a mountain that can be seen in the distance from parts of downtown). Rocky Top continues to be one of Tennessee’s favorite vacation destinations.

History of Rocky Top

After the 1798 Treaty of Tellico, this area of Tennessee became open for settlement, and many settlers came to the area. The area was known as Coal Creek. It remained that name through the 19th century. After the completion of Norris Dam, an artificial lake named Norris Lake was created, and the town took up the name Lake City. It wasn't until 2013 that a business group proposed the name Rocky Top while building a water park nearby. In 2014, the name was officially changed, and the waterpark is still in construction.

I can highly recommend Servpro of Oak Ridge for your restoration needs. Our sunroom collapsed under the weight of built up and melting snow and ice. We contracted with Servpro to replace the sunroom with an all seasons room and we are VERY happy with the results - the room looks fabulous. This was not a small job, and the team at Servpro in Oak Ridge has done terrific work from start to finish. Michael LeBlanc was the project manager and did a great job with the build and the process. Every person who worked on this job handled themselves with courtesy and professionalism, and you can tell that they really take a great deal of pride in their work. If you need restoration or remodeling work done, Servpro of Oak Ridge is the only call you should make. Robert B
