Silverdale had several different names until 1895. It was originally named after a man who owned the corner store in town. The town had three different names until they were able to settle on one after the post office was established. The old post office is now a historic home and is one of the oldest buildings in town. The borough park was built in 1985 and is a popular place for families to this day. SERVPRO Team McCabe is proud to help preserve history in town by offering any fire and water damage restoration services they may need. 

The population in Silverdale is less than 1,000 people. The town itself is small compared to several of the neighboring towns. It is still important that we help our fellow community members with all the fire and water damage restoration needs that may arise. Storms can be an issue in the area during the summer months. This has been a more common issue the past several summers. During the winter snow storms cause major hassle for the residents who live in town. Many of the residents are in need of our services due to bursting pipes especially in the winter months. A quick response time is key and that is something we are proud of at SERVPRO Team McCabe. Outstanding service and compassion from SERVPRO Upper Bucks! We had water damage at my elderly mother’s home on a Saturday, which turned into a long and stressful evening for everyone. The entire SERVPRO team on-site was courteous, professional and incredibly thorough. They explained the mitigation process step by step, answered all of our questions, and explained what to expect next. David, lead technician, provided his cell phone number and told me I could reach him 24/7 with any questions or concerns.
