The early settlers called the area the “Great Swamp” and it was marked as such on early maps. In About 1723, the first Friends (or Quaker) Meeting House was built in Richland. In 1734 it became Richland Township. Dry Branch Creek and Morgan Creek are located in Richland Township. That is why SERVPRO Team McCabe is here to help with all water damage restoration. Even though it is such a beautiful area with great trails along the creeks, it has been known to flood during bad storms. This is especially common in the spring and summer months. Residents don't let the rain stop them from the great views of living along the creek. 

The historic Shelly School is also located in Richland Township. It is only 28 feet wide by 34 feet deep but it houses more than 130 years of history. Not only is SERVPRO Team McCabe here for all of their fire damage restoration needs but we are here for the rest of the community as well. There are many long time residents of our community whose grandparents attend this school as young children. The population in the community has greatly increased over the last 20 years. Outstanding service and compassion from SERVPRO Upper Bucks! We had water damage at my elderly mother’s home on a Saturday, which turned into a long and stressful evening for everyone. The entire SERVPRO team on-site was courteous, professional and incredibly thorough.
