Nockamixon was founded in 1742 by settlers who moved over from Tinicium township. There are a lot of scenic sites in the township, many of which are creeks. Some of them are Beaver Creek, Cauffman Hill, Gallows Hill, Gallows Run, Haycock Creek, Lake Warren, Narrows Creek, The Narrows, and Tinicum Creek. Nockamixon state park is also located in the township. It gathers a lot of visitors especially during the summer months. Kintnersville is a historic village located in Nockamixon. It was named after a German family who settled on the land in 1763. The family would go on to serve in the American Revolution and the war of 1812. Some of the historic family homes and farm buildings are still standing today. The population in this area has remained steady over the past 20 years. There are nearly 4,000 people living in the township. Many of these families have been here for generations. Outstanding service and compassion from SERVPRO Upper Bucks! We had water damage at my elderly mother’s home on a Saturday, which turned into a long and stressful evening for everyone. The entire SERVPRO team on-site was courteous, professional and incredibly thorough. They explained the mitigation process step by step, answered all of our questions, and explained what to expect next. David, lead technician, provided his cell phone number and told me I could reach him 24/7 with any questions or concerns.
