The Village of Mantua sits alongside the Cuyahoga River in Portage County Ohio. Mantua hosts the Potato Festival, a festivity that has occurred annually for over 45 years. The festival features live entertainment, food, rides, a parade, a 15k road race (the Potato Stomp), and varying special attractions.  Prior events included the world's largest serving of mashed potatoes and gravy, and Spud Wrestling.

If you are a golf enthusiast, Boulder Creek Golf Club & Event Center just might be worth spending a summer afternoon. Boulder Creek is rated the 4th best course in Ohio and 8th best in America.  You do not have to be a PGA Pro to enjoy this course, this champion layout is enjoyed by all skill levels. Your skill level just dictates the number of golf balls needed to complete your round!
