About Us
Since 1972 SERVPRO of Buffalo-Tonawanda is and has been a family operated business serving the communities in Western NY. Bill Sullivan was a manager at the Buffalo Currier Express Newspaper and when he was told the newspaper was folding, he started searching for a new job. He started looking around and discovered SERVPRO. Bill Sullivan was interested in helping others out and investigated purchasing a SERVPRO franchise. Bill took a chance and borrowed money from relatives, and he purchased his first franchise. Being dedicated to his family and his new SERVPRO business he had to have 2 jobs at the same time in order to pay the employees at SERVPRO of Buffalo-Tonawanda. His dedication paid off as he purchased additional franchises building up our reputation in the Buffalo area. Currently his daughter Jennifer Sullivan has taking over the ownership role and handles the operation along with a dedicated team. Jennifer has been in the family business since birth. At 13 years old she would assist with performing small tasks by answering the phone, assisting with payroll and would go out with her father on small cleaning projects. This continued until the college years. Jennifer attending college to become a nurse and decided nursing wasn’t for her. Having the passion to help others she went back into the SERVPRO of Buffalo-Tonawanda family business and has been helping others for 26 years. In her time away from the business, she advocates for autism, pediatric cancer awareness and is on the family council for PTEN awareness while supporting her daughter who courageously overcomes all these obstacles.
SERVPRO of Buffalo-Tonawanda is very active in the community supporting the Red Cross, local chamber events, Summits walk for autism, Danceability, catholic charities and many other groups.

In the latter part of July, we had a water problem caused by the upstairs tenant. We called Servpro for service. We immediately received an appointment and the service person was on time. I explained what happened and he told me step by step how he was going to resolve our issue. The mess was minimum and he cleaned up immediately after setting up his equipment. Three days later, another person came out to check on the progress and said we needed one more day to dry out the floor. The next day we received a call, Servpro wanted to check the progress, I gave a time, and they were sitting outside waiting for the appointed time. The gentlemen were polite and professional. If you want a company that is true to their word, Servpro is the way to go. Thank you Servpro, a job well done.

I called ServPro for an emergency roof repair recently and talked to a woman named Alison on the phone who was incredibly kind and helpful! Since it was closing time around the end of the day she advised that the soonest someone could arrive was the following day (which was expected). She told me she would work her hardest to squeeze me in an already-packed day with one of her estimators. She called me back the following morning to advise what time the estimator could be there based on his route and followed up again later in the day via phone call. We ended up using another local roofer to help us but Alison was so professional, sweet, helpful, and very communicative! If we ever need contractor services in WNY, I will happily call ServPro back just because the customer service was phenomenal. Thank you Alison!

Experiencing a fire in your home is quite the trauma producing situation. The Team at Servpro made my experience better. John and Matt came out to do some work for us after we experienced some flooding. They were very friendly and professional. They made sure to clearly explain every step to us without ever making us feel like they were talking down to us. They were very patient and took the time to answer any questions we had. They were very flexible around our schedule. They cleaned up every bit of mess and debris from their job. We were very impressed with the services provided and would absolutely use them in the future or recommend them to a friend or family member.
I came home from work to find my basement full of water. I called Servpro and they referred me to a plumber who replaced my sump pump. After it was fixed, Servpro arrived and explained that the carpet/pad had to come out. They explained they were follow the guidelines because there is bacteria and containments in the water that could make you get sick. My antique furniture left several stains on the carpet. Servpro used the utmost care and moved the furniture into a dry location. The team was very caring, professional and provided amazing service. Very satisfied and felt safe.
