When Water, Fire, and Storm Damage Happens in Lecompton, We're Ready.

Whether you're looking for restoration, cleaning or construction services in Lecompton, we're here to help 24/7.

Lecompton, KS was founded in 1854 and was originally called "Bald Eagle", the name was later changed to Lecompton in honor of Samuel D. Lecompte. The city was founded on a bluff on the south bank of the Kansas River and is located in North Eastern Kansas. Lecompton became the official capital of the Kansas Territory in 1855 and remained so until the current state capital was chosen in 1861. The famous Lecompton Constitution was drafter here in 1857 in the Constitution Hall.

In 1916 a part of down town Lecompton was destroyed by a fire and some of the wooden frame business buildings were replaced with brick structures that are still in use today. Lane University was once located in Lecompton, the building Lane University once occupied is now home to the Territorial Capital Museum, maintained by the Lecompton Historical Society. The Constitution Hall is now also a museum that is maintained by the Kansas Historical Society. Historical building damage is no problem for SERVPRO, be it water, fire, storm, or mold damage.

The Lecompton Historical Society purchased the remains of the native limestone Democratic Headquarters Building (circa 1850's) in 1998 with plans to restore the building. The building sits along the Kansas River, you can overlook the Kaw Valley Basin from here as well as the Riverview Park. The proximity to the Kansas River can mean a higher chance of flooding during the wet season. The professionals at SERVPRO are here to help make any water and storm damage "Like it never even happened" every day of the year, 24/7.

Great experience working with this company. Everyone was polite and professional. Chance and James did a great job explaining the process and asked multiple times if there was anything else they could do to help. Very pleased. Mike Morgan

Our water service line blew underneath our house. It was pumping 155 gal of water an hour into our home, Destroyed alot! Chance and Ralph came in they were very professional, Informational, and courteous to all of our belongings, kids, and even our dogs, they got right to work got the mess cleaned up, got fans going dehumidifiers to get the house dried out. They came back and checked moisture levels in the house and walls, checked for mold spores (as our youngest has bad asthma) to make sure he (our son) and the rest of us would have no issues. They were very thorough and a pleasure to work with, I definitely reccomend this company if you want it done right. They have great communication and show up on time everytime even at the drop of a hat...Thanks Guys very happy with everything!

Chance, Ralph, and Pete came to our house after a bathroom toilet ran over for hours. The quickly started the drying process. After ascertaining the damage, they quickly brought their equipment (4 dehumidifiers and 9 fans) spread throughout the affected areas. And they didn’t leave us hanging for the weekend! Chance came Saturday and Sunday to check the drying process. Finally arriving at the desired levels on Tuesday, saving us from major renovation, they removed their equipment and it’s ready for patching and painting; then some new flooring. Believe me the alternative could have been much worse and much more expensive! Thanks fellows!
