Death and Suicide
Discovering the remains of someone who’s passed away is a shocking and tragic experience. SERVPRO understands and is here to help, bringing compassion and the necessary tools and resources to discreetly clean, disinfect, and deodorize the affected area.
Suicide presents many hardships. Your peace of mind is important to us, and our discreet and speedy cleanup and sanitization process will ease your stress. We’re dedicated to providing speedy, discreet, and considerate cleanup so you can concentrate on your family or business affairs.
Hoarding Cleanup
Dealing with extreme clutter seems like an impossible task. Where do I start? How do I remove everything? How do I ensure that it’s sanitary? SERVPRO can provide the answers, expertise, and resources to bring your property back to a sanitary and habitable space.
Rodent Infestation
No one likes sharing their space with unsanitary intruders. They eat your wires and ductwork, urinate and defecate in your attics and walls, and cause real anxiety. We will thoroughly disinfect and clean your home or business to “make it like it never even happened.”
Illicit Substances
The production and use of illegal drugs can result in exposure to volatile and harmful chemicals. Our professionals follow federal and state guidelines when cleaning and decontaminating the affected areas of your home or business.
Chemicals and Residues
Our technicians specialize in the safe, thorough removal of chemical residues left behind after emergencies, law enforcement activity, or industrial accidents. We can handle a wide range of hazardous materials and contamination scenarios, such as:
- Fingerprint powder
- Tear gas
- Pepper spray
- Fire extinguishers
SERVPRO follows all OSHA and EPA guidelines to make sure all chemical contaminants are safely removed, leaving your space clean, compliant, and habitable.
Squad Cars and Jail Cells
Keeping our first responders safe and healthy is a top priority. Contaminants and biohazards like:
- Blood
- Drug Residue
- Bodily Fluids
must be removed and the affected area decontaminated to ensure safety, compliance, and peace of mind.
Viruses & Pathogens
Through our Certified: SERVPRO Cleaned program, we offer a specialized viral pathogen deep cleaning service that ensures that you and your space are both healthy and clean. SERVPRO can assist with C diff, HIV-1, Norovirus, MRSA, and many other viruses and bacteria.
What To Do When You Have a Biohazard Emergency
The need for biohazard or hazmat cleaning usually comes with little or no warning. And it can be truly overwhelming.
Dealing with hazardous materials is best left to experienced, certified professionals. But if you find yourself in such a traumatic incident, here are a few important things to remember.
Call Emergency Personnel
Emergency services should be called in a life-threatening situation.
Do Not Attempt Any Cleaning Yourself
Cleaning of any kind could interfere with a possible investigation and expose you to harmful contaminated materials.
Stay Out Of The Area
Stay out of any affected areas. There may be potentially dangerous hazardous materials left behind.
Treat All Bodily Fluids As Contaminated
Do not touch or handle items that might be contaminated with extremely harmful bodily fluids. And always treat bodily fluids as if they’re contaminated.
Simplifying Insurance
We make insurance claims easier, with fewer headaches for you. We handle the details and coordinate any paperwork, so you can focus on moving forward.
We will thoroughly document the damage and communicate clearly with you and your insurance company throughout the process.
Your insurance provider trusts SERVPRO to respond quickly—we address biohazard issues swiftly to ensure the safety of all concerned, prevent further damage, control costs, and keep the insurance process moving smoothly.
What our

I cannot say enough good things about Charles and the team at Servpro of NE St. Pete! I'm in the middle of a very strict real estate inspection period and needed a highly specific inspection and quote. Charles responded to my inquiry immediately, communicated flawlessly, and went above and beyond to accommodate my tight scheduling needs. Both he and Justin operate with absolute professionalism and made what could have been a stressful coordination process completely seamless. If you need honest, fast, and incredibly reliable service, Charles is your guy. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would!!! I highly recommend!
