  • Ascertaining which category water has escaped into the interior space of the property,
  • Wearing appropriate PPE while removing and extracting water,
  • Eliminating debris and destroyed materials while cleaning soiled areas,
  • Rinsing with clean water wherever possible to reduce microbes,
  • Applying a disinfectant and following the label’s directions,
  • Drying the interior while performing additional cleaning,
  • Rebuilding any components destroyed by the water.
