Debris containing odor-causing residues will continue to give off odors. That’s why we deal with the source of the odor first.
Clean Residues From Surfaces
After the source of the odor is removed, it’s important to thoroughly clean surfaces to deodorize them effectively. If not properly cleaned, tiny particles of the odor-causing residues will continue to smell.
Recreate the Conditions That Caused Odor Penetration
We apply deodorizer in a method similar to how the odor-causing substances originally penetrated a surface. If smoke created the smell, for instance, deodorizing smoke or fog might be most effective.

As the team lead of the cleaning crew, Shelby not only did excellent work but also displayed great leadership and organization. Chataun, Sophia, Andrew Thomas, Mike Hodges and Freddy were all excellent to work with. The house and contents are wonderfully clean. The construction crew of Derrick Tunstall, Matt Sprague and Chris Dangerfield were amazing in their determination, perseverance and professionalism in setting and repairing the doors as well as cleaning and repairing of the patio. We had an upstairs pipe burst and it flooded the bedroom downstairs and the ceiling fell in. Dakota and Daniel came out after hours and stayed until they had the entire mess cleaned up and plastic put on the ceiling joists to help keep dirt and wind out until it could be repaired. After a couple of days of drying from their fans and heat, Daniel came back out to test for moisture and clean the carpet. Dakota and Daniel make a great team! They are very professional and thorough with attention to detail. We will definitely call ServPro again if needed! They communicated with the insurance company through and after the entire job.
