Rosenberg, Texas is a city located in the Greater Houston area. Its located southwest of Houston and sits right off Interstate 69. Rosenberg is named after Henry Rosenberg, a migrant from Switzerland. Henry Rosenberg migrated to Galveston, Texas and was the first president of Gulf, Colorado, and Santa Fe Railways. Rosenberg celebrates the Fort Bend County Fair every October and draws in a very large crowd to the city.

In 2017 Rosenberg was one of the many areas near Houston who were dealt a hard blow from Hurricane Harvey. There were many homes that suffered from flooding.
