The Texas Riding Center is located on the edge of the community. There are several good schools in the neighborhood or in walking distance. There are a number of parks and preserves that residents can enjoy near Lookout Point, including Barton Creek Habitat Preserve and Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. The preserve is a result of efforts of volunteers as well as conservation groups. There more 4,000 acres of pristine landscape along Barton Creek. The preserve’s limestone canyons and tree-lined hills provide habitat for an incredible diversity of Texas species. Even though though the preserve is close to downtown Austin it feels like it's a world away.
