Almeda, Oregon is a city nicely located with great views of the city and local rivers in Multnomah County. You can check out the rivers that run near by here: https://www.oregonencyclopedia.org/articles/willamette_river/ Alameda  was established in 1859.  Sitting between Mt. Hood and Columbia River there are things to do outside all year round. The name comes from the Spanish word "alamo," meaning a poplar or cottonwood tree.  In 1909, the Alameda Land Company laid out the Alameda Park subdivision that was then annexed to the city of Portland. There is even a song named Almeda. AlamedaPDX Facebook page is a great source for neighborhood news, issues and events and the most up to date events and volunteer info. 

Our area has most seasons. Summers are dry and clear. In recent years, fires have made their way towards the area and cause fire and smoke damage causing many residents and business owners to need fire damage restoration. Fall is gorgeous. Winters are very wet, cold and overcast. The chance of rain and wet days is very common, which can be a contributor to need for water damage restoration and mold issues. Spring is beautiful with the rain keeping our community green and lush. The area can also see a lot of wind, which can cause tree and roof damage. The best time to travel to Almeda is between early July and late September.
