SERVPRO’s 4-Step Odor Removal Process

1.svg

Remove the Odor Source

Debris containing odor-causing residues will continue to give off odors. That’s why we deal with the source of the odor first.

2.svg

Clean Residues From Surfaces

After the source of the odor is removed, it’s important to thoroughly clean surfaces to deodorize them effectively. If not properly cleaned, tiny particles of the odor-causing residues will continue to smell.

3.svg

Recreate the Conditions That Caused Odor Penetration

We apply deodorizer in a method similar to how the odor-causing substances originally penetrated a surface. If smoke created the smell, for instance, deodorizing smoke or fog might be most effective.

Seal Surfaces Exposed To Unpleasant Odors

Severe situations may require sealing if odor removal would be insufficient.

Highly recommend. Not only did they do great work, they did it with kindness and compassion. I should add that they did this despite it being a 90+ degree day with high humidity.

I called Servpro of Watertown NY after the national Servpro company cancelled our appointment and could not tell me exactly when they could reschedule! Within an hour of my call they arrived, assessed the water damage. Gave us great information. They were kind and very courteous. Mark and Marylourdes Zegarelli, owners of SERVPRO of Jefferson County have a team of IICRC-industry certified technicians. The owners have the experience 15-years of cleanup and restoration. Our technicians have undergone extensive and on-going training along with a background check to ensure our clients feel confident that they receive the highest quality of service for damage cleanup and restoration after a fire or water damage, mold remediation or biohazard and crime scene mitigation in both residential and commercial properties.

Safety in the community is a concern for the Zegarelli's, and Mark was a volunteer firefighter for 25-years, and they volunteer with the American Red Cross installing fire alarms in homes.
The weather in Jefferson is known for cold and snowy winters, increasing the frequency of structural damage from ice and plumbing issues due to cold temperatures.

With that in mind, we provide emergency support to the local community with our emergency services including restoring power, board ups, and pack ups and move outs for property contents to mitigate damage.
