Centrally located in Monmouth County, Freehold is a historic town founded in 1693. Originally inhabited by the Lenape Indians, the town is best known as the site of The Battle of Monmouth during the American Revolutionary War. The battle served as a turning point in the colonists’ fight for independence. An active community before the war, Freehold has a robust farming heritage, with colonial-era orchards still in existence today. The large town currently comprises of a vibrant downtown, parks, shopping, dining, farmland and wooded areas. Buildings dating back to the war are scattered throughout the town and many are concentrated in the historic downtown area. Easily accessible to visitors from New York City and Philadelphia, Monmouth Battlefield State Park is an excellent place to explore and learn about Freehold’s single largest event. A visitor center, open battlefields and trails give visitors much to explore. A re-enactment of the battle is performed every year on its anniversary.

Our water heater failed while we were out of town flooding our basement for days before we found out. The Servpro team were at my house within a couple of hours and pumped out the water immediately. The team was at my house all week drying it out, doing demolition and removal of items that couldn’t be saved, cataloging everything and mitigating for mold. My team consisted of Gage, Victor and Edwin (Among others) and they were exceptional. Prompt, polite, efficient and hard working. They kept me informed throughout and left the space as clean as could be expected under the circumstances. I don’t know what I would’ve done without them. I had a really bad leak in my basement and these guys were unbelievable. The job they did was amazing. From packing up everything and putting in a pod to putting what was destroyed by the leak into a dumpster. They then cleaned and sanitized the floor. They then put heaters and a humidifier to take out moisture in the air. The Servpro crew i had was Gabe, Victor and Ryan. These guys were nothing short of amazing, professional and extremely curious and took care of everything. I highly recommend this service. 5 🌟
