City Attractions:

Did you know that the city of West Point was founded in the late 1840s? The city received its name from its geographic location on what was then known as the western edge of Lowndes County.

The city has multiple museums and historic must-sees such as The Sam Wilhite Transportation Museum, the Black Prairie Blues Museum, and the Howlin' Wolf Blue Museum.

SERVPRO is here to support these locations with water damage restoration, and fire damage restoration needs.

Are you a golf lover? West Point houses the prestigious Old Waverly golf course, an 18-hole course with an antebellum-style clubhouse that makes it a must-do while in town. Along with a newer course, the Mossy Oak Golf Club combines the beauty of nature with the game of golf.

For the hunters out there, the well knows outdoor lifestyle and camouflage brand, Mossy Oak was founded here in 1986 by Toxey Haas.

Everybodys got to eat:

Last but not least, if your looking for a place to grab dinner Anthony's is the spot. Located in the downtown area, it is a local favorite.

Also located downtown is a fun lunch, and brunch restaurant called Magnolias. Last but not least on Hwy 45 N a local favorite Tin Lizzie Cafe.

LODGING:

Backstrom’s Country Bed and Breakfast is a unique brick and wood home located in a quiet setting only minutes from town. The home is constructed of lumber from a century-old Tennessee country store owned by Mrs. Backstrom's family. Wake up to a yummy, included country breakfast.

Shadowlawn Bed and Breakfast was built in the mid-1800s, and the historic mansion has been home to more than ten families. Full gourmet breakfast with menu options is just waiting for you.

What our
West Point customers are saying

We had a leak in a closet at my mom’s house, and SERVPRO was there within 30 minutes of us calling. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Heather, Kelsey, Benny, Alex, and the entire SERVPRO team. They were so kind, helpful, and reassuring during what could have been a very stressful situation. They jumped right in and took care of everything, and we felt so taken care of throughout the whole process. We are so thankful for each of them and would highly recommend SERVPRO!

Dana, Criffie, Grace, Heather and Kelsey did a wonderful job repairing my disaster I came home from vacation to. they were kind, helpful, informative and professional. From start to finish I felt very taken care of. Thankful to have them when things hit the fan.

Heather, Todd, Criffie, Grace, Rob, and Tyler are superheroes when it comes to post construction cleanup!! We had a leak that caused our plaster ceiling to fall. Replaced all ceilings with drywall. What seemed like 14 tons of plaster & Sheetrock dust had accumulated everywhere. Heather opened closets and made sure it was all gone before they left. Duct cleaning was life changing! Hope we don’t need this crew again but highly recommend!
