A successful amount of sports talent has come from Taylorsville; such has the following, Jason Campbell, Tim Duckworth, Billy Hamilton, Marcus Keys and Eugene Sims. There are two parks located in town, The City Park and Sportsplex and also two newspapers, The Smith County Reformer and The Post so you can catch up on your weekly news and events happening in town. The town may be small, but has plenty of opportunity!
