Cable is small town located in Sherburne County, Minnesota which is within Haven Township. This a community with a smaller population that is located between Clear Lake and St. Cloud along the major U.S. Highway 10.

Due to the location of Cable, it is in close proximity with the public - use St. Cloud Regional Airport which is known to draw in travelers from far and surrounding areas. The St. Cloud Regional Airport is known for servicing commercial, private, corporate, military and cargo services. They are able to serve a wide variety due to their two different types of runways. One of the runways are concrete and the other runway is asphalt.

Cable is a town that only had a post office for eight years total. This post office was around from 1884 to 1892, with Violetta Cable being its first postmaster to do the job.

The small town of Cable has a chance to experience all four seasons in Minnesota: winter, spring, summer, and fall. Due to this town experiencing all types of weather throughout the year, it makes it susceptible to fire, water, storm, and mold damages.
