Barton Hills is located in Washtenaw County Michigan, just 10 minutes northwest of Ann Arbor. Barton Hills is located in one of the most beautiful settings the area has to offer. With its winding roads and picturesque vistas Barton Hills provides the best in upscale living. Barton Hills was designed as an exclusive, forested residential enclave and its homes are positioned with outstanding views of the Huron River, Barton Hills Pond, woodlands and meadows.

Should a fire or water disaster affect any of these beautiful homes, the residents of Barton Hills can rest assured, that with over 1,700 franchises nationwide, a local franchise is nearby and their professional fire and water restoration technicians are ready 24/7 365 to help.

Towar Dairy originally owned the land and used it for cattle grazing. Detroit Edison purchased 2000 acres and the water rights along both sides of the Huron River. The land was purchased to help increase its electrical generating capacity and the renowned Barton Hills Dam was built in 1913. The Barton Hills neighborhood was established when Detroit Edison devoted part of the 2000 acres as an exclusive residential community for the company's executives.

Detroit Edison contracted with the Olmstead Brothers, famous for their park and subdivision designs, as the landscape architects. The Olmstead Brothers, whose father created New York's Central Park, carefully planned to preserve and emphasize the lands natural forms.

Ann Arbor's first suburb was at first considered a financial disaster for its developers, as the subdivision was considered too far from Ann Arbor. It was only in the post-World War II years of the 1950's and 1960's that Barton Hills grew to what it is today. Barton Hills became an incorporated village in 1973.

The only business within the village is the Barton Hills Country Club, which was founded in 1917. Barton Hills Country Club is a full-service, member-owned, Distinguished Club of America, with its classic Donald Ross golf course.

When a fire or water damage happens, you want it restored as soon as possible. That is why the residents of Barton Hills call on SERVPRO's trained fire and water restoration technicians. Trusted by hundreds of insurance companies, SERVPRO's timely response can be the difference between restoring property or replacing it.

What our
Barton Hills customers are saying

I am very pleased with the services of ServPro, who I recently hired to replace water damaged flooring in my finished basement. From beginning to end, things went very smoothly. Mike L. was very thorough with the estimate and worked with me to manage some of the costs. The project supervisor, Steve, and the installation crew, Ron & Jeremy were great to work with. I am very pleased with the quality of their work, and they were productive with their time. All 4 of the guys respected my input on the project, and worked closely with me on some of the finishing details. They were respectful of my home and belongings, and the final clean-up was done well. My project started and finished within the timeline that Mike & Steve projected, and they were accommodating with my schedule. I highly recommend ServPro for restoration and remodeling services.

Linda Tishkoff

Elijah came out the fix a leak genuinely a nice guy and did a creat job. Kept it simple explained the process and all around one of the best experiences I have had with a plumber.

Riley Gross

Came out quickly and mitigated a basement water leak. They start pulling up flooring and ripping out drywall immediately. They break what they pull up/off so it can’t be reused. Would have liked more communication and care in the mitigation (example: Nails weren’t removed, they were hammered flat). They worked fast and had the equipment (dryers and fans) to really get ready to restore. I used my own contractors for the restoration.

ServPro staff were at our house to mitigate water damage from basement flooding that resulted from an error involving repair/ upgrade of the city storm sewer system. The staff who helped us with this unpleasant and upsetting experience were uniformly and consistently thoughtful, informative and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to help us address a couple of issues that arose because of the need to move and discard furniture and equipment. While the cause of our working with ServPro was not pleasant, working with ServPro staff was a bright spot in an otherwise grim experience.

Tim Richards

They were very professional and I quick.
