After the source of the odor is removed, it’s important to thoroughly clean surfaces to deodorize them effectively. If not properly cleaned, tiny particles of the odor-causing residues will continue to smell.
Recreate the Conditions That Caused Odor Penetration
We apply deodorizer in a method similar to how the odor-causing substances originally penetrated a surface. If smoke created the smell, for instance, deodorizing smoke or fog might be most effective.

I’m the General Manager of a dealer group on the South Shore. After a huge rainstorm, we had a pretty significant water intrusion in a recently remodeled conference room. During the blizzard this past winter, an ice dam caused leaks in our roof and consequently water leaked into our main bedroom.
