Debris containing odor-causing residues will continue to give off odors. That’s why we deal with the source of the odor first.
Clean Residues From Surfaces
After the source of the odor is removed, it’s important to thoroughly clean surfaces to deodorize them effectively. If not properly cleaned, tiny particles of the odor-causing residues will continue to smell.
Recreate the Conditions That Caused Odor Penetration
We apply deodorizer in a method similar to how the odor-causing substances originally penetrated a surface. If smoke created the smell, for instance, deodorizing smoke or fog might be most effective.

Our first call was Stanley Steemer. That ended up being a big mistake. 2 weeks after they claimed everything was dry the smell remained. We called ServPro and they discovered several areas that were still wet and found black mold. Our tech, Nick, talked us thru the entire process, was here daily to check readings and was very respectful of our home and our loss. Every firm needs a "Nick". He was absolutely the best. Side note, if a guy name Renee comes to your home, don't let his attitude tarnish the ServPro name. Request a new rep. He was the worse. No homeowner needs a kid to walk into their home and claim they need to RIP stuff out. He was cocky, cold and disrespectful.
