Colfax is a small town just south of Interstate 80 just 20 miles away from the Iowa capital. Although it’s considered a small town don’t be fooled as it provides it’s residents with numerous family oriented activities. Colfax is also known country wide for the mineral springs which in the 1870s made visitors flock to the town.

Sometimes if we catch wind of a fire we will have a member of our marketing department come to the property with out resource guide. This document contains phone numbers for things like extended stay hotels, food/clothing assistance, and even dog kenneling services. We hope that you decide to work with our SERVPRO team but we hand this information out to help bring a little normalcy back into the client’s life.

SERVPRO’s Promise: Water Damage Restoration

Whether you have a pin hole leak or two feet of standing water we suggest that you seek immediate assistance. When there is moisture it is safe to say that there is a strong possibility of microbial growth within the affected material. By having a project manager scope the affected areas can mean them finding secondary damage. If they scope the affected area and describe a musty smell this is a strong possibility that mold is present. If the project manager believes there is mold we will utilize the company Techtron Engineering which tests for contaminates in a material.

Being a part of the Colfax means we are apart of this rich history. We want to help preserve that history as it has made the city what it is today. We hope you never need our services but if you do call your trusted professionals at SERVPRO.
